Back in 1979 Father Paul Counce was ordained to as a priest of the Diocese of Baton Rouge. He will offer a special Mass of Thanksgiving to God, celebrating these 40 years of priesthood, on Friday, August 16, 2019, at 7 pm here at St. Joseph Cathedral.  Your presence and prayers would be most welcome! Many priests will take part in the concelebration, and Bishop Shelton Fabre of Houma-Thibodaux will preach the homily.

A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
